Meet Coach Lou

I am the owner and Lead Trainer of Coach Lou’s K-9 Tactics LLC. 

After a 20+ year career as a Corrections Officer I was able to retire and follow my lifelong passion as a dog trainer and owner educator.  My professional dog training career started out with one of the largest dog training companies in the country where I quickly became the manager and lead trainer of multiple locations in Massachusetts.

I have raised and trained a variety of dogs including Doberman Pinschers, American Staffordshire Terriers, and Rottweilers to name a few.  I can personally attest to the frustration that owners feel and just how important training is to both. Dogs are incredible companions and while I love training and watching their transformation, my mission is to empower and coach their owner. 

The investment of time and training both the dog and owner only helps to further grow and strengthen their bond!

When I’m not coaching owners and training their companions, you can find me with my family or coaching youth basketball and football.
